ELITE CAMP
JUNE 14 - 16, 2021

Elite Camp is an opportunity to take your skill set to the next level and begin preparing for a DI atmosphere.
Players will spend the morning sessions focusing on advanced fundamental skill work with coaches from across the country and move into live game play in the afternoon sessions. Our goal is to have the campers’ transfer what fundamental skills were taught throughout the 3 days into their everyday game play. All campers will be fed lunch at camp.

At this time, overnight options are not offered. Overnight camp may become available at a later date pending changing State/CDC guidelines.

PITCHING & CATCHING CAMP
JUNE 21 - 22, 2021

Pitching sessions will be broken up by specific pitch and focus on the entire fundamental base of each pitch. From there advanced skills and spin will be taught through spin drills, body position, & live throwing. Strength and core will also be a major focus for the upper age groups in order to work on creating speed and power. In the afternoon, pitchers will throw to catchers with the aim of transferring the skills learned earlier to full pitching. Lunch will be included for all campers in registration fee and a camp snack bar will be available at additional cost.
*Pitchers do not need to provide a catcher.
*All groups will be split by age & ability to ensure the best learning environment possible.

Catching sessions are broken down by the specific fundamentals all catchers must have; receiving, blocking, throwing, and stance. Strength of the core and flexibility will be a key focus for the upper age groups as all the best catchers have great core strength and flexibility. Following each fundamental session catchers will have the chance to apply what they learned into catching live for the pitchers.
Lunch will be included for all campers in registration fee and a camp snack bar will be available at additional cost.

NIGHTTIME

Nighttime Hitting camp is an opportunity to dive deeper into our LSU hitting philosophy. This camp can be ad addition to one of the summer camps you've registered for or can stand alone by itself.
Athletes will get a small foundation on how to apply LSU Softball's hitting philosophy. Your camper will have a stronger fundamental base by the time the night ends.

ALL SKILLS CAMP

You can expect All Skills Camp to educate, motivate, and transform athletes by current LSU softball staff and current & former LSU athletes.
Our goal is to spread as much skill instruction and fundamental drills as possible in the four days of working together for a unique experience, yet remember the fun of the game. We will have competitions throughout the days, a day filled with water activities, and theme days.
Hitting sessions will offer drills aimed at creating power, recognizing pitches, improving our plate approach. Defensive sessions will be broken up by position and will cover proper footwork, angles, range, overhand throwing techniques in order to prevent injury, and other skills that will mimic LSU Softball.

TIGER CUBS CAMP
JUNE 21 - 24, 2021

Our game is growing and our little cubs want to be a part of the softball fun as well.
Bring the little ones out to Tiger Park for four days of learning basic softball skills while showing them how fun our game can be. We will not only focus on basic softball skills, but athletic movements and team work. Each day will have a fun theme associated with it for the cubs to participate in and one of the days will be devoted to softball through water activities.
