2017

Thanks to Sahvanna Jaquish, who drove in four runs, and Carley Hoover, who came in relief to hold off No. 4 seed Florida State 6-4, the Tigers advanced to the Women’s College World Series for the third-straight season.

The 2017 Tigers finished the season ranked #6 in the nation.

2016

After pulling out a 2-0 win earlier on the day, the Tigers opened the scoring and weathered late rallies to earn a 3-2 win over JMU in game two to qualify for the 2016 Women’s College World Series.

The 2016 Tigers finished the season ranked #4 in the nation.

2015

Arguable one of the best teams in program history, the 2015 Tigers valiantly battled through the regional round and swept Arizona in the Baton Rouge Super Regional to earn a berth in the 2015 Women's College World Series.

2012

When Beth Torina was introduced as LSU softball’s fifth head coach in June 2012, she vowed to win in everything the program did and return to the Tigers to national prominence. LSU defeated Missouri in a thrilling three-game series to earn the program's third WCWS berth.

The 2012 Tigers finished the season ranked #7 in the nation.

2004

The SEC Western Division, Regular Season and Tournament champions swept through the Baylor regional, including a 10-inning triumph over host Baylor. The 2004 team featured 14 players and is often celebrated as one of the closest teams in program history.

 

The 2004 Tigers finished the season ranked #3 in the nation.

2001

Yvette Girouard’s first season at LSU ended in storybook fashion as the Tigers racked up a school record 59 wins and qualified for the program’s first Women’s College World Series.
