Camp Description
LSU Softball staff is giving teams and individual athletes a chance to be ran through a mock practice plan. Staff will cover all parts of the game from offense to defense to base running. Coaches that bring their teams will have a chance to request specific areas they would like to be covered within the 2 hour clinic. The clinic is open to both teams and individual participants! The LSU staff will ensure there is still an individual feel, enough hands to run a practice efficiently, and softball development is had! We will encourage coaches to engage in the clinic with us to be a helping hand and to learn ways to implement drills worked on into their own practices. Parents however will need to stay in the stands and will not be allowed to be within the playing field. Each month will look slightly different.
*Options to add different days or more days within the month are available; but will be on a case by case basis. All camps will need to follow our NCAA guidelines. Clinics will not be allowed to be made for 9th grade and up participants without a 2 week window. 8th grade and below can be added at a more frequent rate. In addition, clinics will need at least 8 participants in the group to add another day or clinic within the month. All is subject to the LSU staff/softball schedules. FAQ
Do you offer discounts if we bring the whole team?
Yes, a team discount will be given through a code to use at registration. Please email lsusoftballcamp@gmail.com for the code. Each camper will receive $15 off of registration. A team discount is considered having 8 or more from the SAME team (not organization).
What qualifies us for a team discount?
All members using the team discount code must be listed on team roster, same age division, and under the same coach
Can I register my team as the coach & make one payment?
YES! Please contact lsusoftballcamp@gmail.com prior to this and we will route you on best way to do that. Price will still be per person, just total summed up with one card being ran for payment.
What will happen in the event of weather?
LSU staff will make a decision if we can still give a good product by moving the clinic indoors or if we need to reschedule. Our indoor facility is big enough for the majority of the stuff to stay on the same day and not change days. Change of days will be last case scenario.
What happens if my camper cant attend and we have already paid for it?
No refunds or credits will be given withouth 48 hour notice to the camp. If it is less than 48 hours of notice, the staff will need medical documentation to issue a refund or credit. All cases will be handled on an individual basis. Only a credit will be given if cancellation is less than 2 weeks out; other than that clinics will follow our general cancellation policy.
